Office Based Procedures and Studies

Our Procedures

Echocardiography

An echocardiogram is an ultrasound scan of the heart that allows healthcare providers to view the movement of the heart. In an echocardiogram, ultrasound (high-frequency sound waves) placed on your chest will take pictures of your heart valves and heart chambers.

Carotid Ultrasound

A Carotid Ultrasound is a procedure where blood flow is examined as it flows through the carotid arteries by using an ultrasound machine. This procedure is safe, painless, and is usually completed in 30 minutes. Results from this ultrasound helps your physician determine your treatment.

Treadmill Stress Test

A Treadmill Stress Test is a procedure that determines how your blood vessels and heart are working. During this procedure the patient exercised on a treadmill while their heart rhythm and blood pressure are monitored.

Nuclear Stress Test

A Nuclear Stress Test is a test used to examine blood flow to the heart. During this test, a vein is injected with a small amount of radioactive tracer. A camera detects the radiation released by the tracer and uses a computer to create images of the patient's heart.
